Royal Caribbean’s Quantum OTS Set to Resume Homeporting in Singapore (2027-2028)
Royal Caribbean’s ship Quantum of the Seas is set to resume its homeporting in Singapore for the winter season from 2027 to 2028. This marks a continuation of the ship’s presence in the Asian cruise market.
The Quantum of the Seas will operate a variety of voyages ranging from short regional trips to extended itineraries across East and Southeast Asia, between October 2027 and March 2028. These sailings will depart from Singapore, a well-known hub for cruise operations, featuring itineraries ranging from three to ten nights. They will connect travelers to popular destinations in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Royal Caribbean indicated that the ship’s consistent presence in the region has met growing demand for both short leisure trips and longer, multi-destination cruises. The offerings will include short journeys to nearby ports like Penang and Phuket, and longer passages reaching major cities such as Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and various Japanese ports, including Tokyo and Kobe.
The deployment is tailored to cater to both local passengers and those planning fly-cruise arrangements, with Singapore serving as the embarkation and disembarkation point. This strategy enhances logistical efficiency while making a wide range of regional destinations accessible.
