Royal Caribbean Expands Australian Offerings with the Exciting Debut of Lelepa Beach Club

RCI-Royal Caribbean has announced an expansion of its Australian cruise program for the summer season of 2027-2028, which will feature a new private destination in the South Pacific. The deployment will take place from October 2027 to April 2028, highlighting an increased schedule of regional voyages.

During this period, the cruise line will utilize the Anthem of the Seas based in Sydney and Voyager of the Seas stationed in Brisbane. The cruises will offer varied itineraries, ranging from short coastal trips to longer journeys across Australia, New Zealand, and other South Pacific islands. Cruises will span between 2 to 12 nights in duration, catering to both quick getaways and extended explorations.

A significant highlight of this initiative is the introduction of Vanuatu’s Royal Beach Club Lelepa, scheduled to open in 2027. This marks Royal Caribbean’s first exclusive destination in the Southern Hemisphere. The beach club will be included in South Pacific itineraries from both Australian ports, providing a controlled environment focused on guest leisure, reflecting a model previously utilized in other markets.

The Royal Beach Club will feature two main beach areas: one designated for adults and another that is open to all guests. Additionally, it will include amenities such as food services, recreation spaces, nature trails, and water activities—all included in the cruise fare, ensuring a cohesive and enjoyable shore experience.

Royal Caribbean’s expanded schedule is a response to the increasing demand for regional cruising options and the preference among travelers for itineraries that include dedicated private destinations.
