First Look at Luna: Norwegian Cruise Line’s Newest Ship Set to Sail from PortMiami
MIAMI – Norwegian Cruise Line has introduced its newest ship, Luna, which made its debut on Tuesday. This marks Luna as the 21st addition to the fleet. Starting in April and continuing through October, Luna will operate from PortMiami, offering seven-day Caribbean cruises that accommodate over 3,000 guests.
Cruise Director Alvin Oliva shared details about the itinerary, which includes visits to destinations such as the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Tortola. Guests can also look forward to a comforting visit to Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian’s private island.
Family-friendly activities abound on board, including obstacle courses for children and a two-story lavish spa. The Mandara Spa offers an extensive range of treatments, including hot stone massages and facials, alongside a thermal suite featuring steam rooms and heated loungers. For those seeking thrills, the Aqua Slidecoaster—the fastest and longest waterslide at sea—has garnered rave reviews from guests.
Travelers from various locations have expressed excitement about the ship’s cleanliness and aesthetics, highlighting the quality of their accommodations.
With a busy spring break anticipated, the Luna is preparing for its maiden voyage set for April 4.
