On the morning of March 30, 2026, the Port of San Diego, California, experienced a temporary lockdown of cruise operations at the B Street Cruise Terminal due to a bomb threat. The alert was reported by a port employee just before 7:00 a.m., coinciding with the Disney Wonder’s scheduled turnaround.
San Diego Harbor Police, alongside explosive detection canine units, swiftly responded to secure the terminal and conduct a thorough inspection. As a precaution, disembarkation of passengers from the Disney Wonder was paused while authorities investigated.
The security sweep lasted roughly two hours, during which time the area surrounding the terminal was meticulously checked. By around 9:00 a.m., the threat was deemed nonexistent, and normal port operations resumed, allowing passengers to disembark.

No injuries were reported during the event, and officials have not provided further details regarding the source or intent behind the threat. The swift actions of port security and law enforcement successfully ensured the terminal could quickly return to routine operations.
