The Azamara Journey has recently introduced exciting new onboard entertainment, marking it as the second ship in the Azamara Cruises fleet to do so. These productions debuted during the Spain Intensive Cruise, which visited iconic destinations such as Barcelona, Ibiza, and Majorca, departing on May 21, 2026.
Simon Blacoe, the vice president of hotel operations at Azamara Cruises, highlighted the importance of entertainment in enhancing the onboard experience. He expressed enthusiasm about the new programming, which melds extraordinary talent, memorable music, and immersive narratives to create engaging performances for guests.
Two shows exclusive to the Azamara Journey have been launched:
-
Rendezvous in Paris – This cabaret-style show features music inspired by Moulin Rouge and Édith Piaf, showcasing couture costumes reminiscent of the Lido de Paris. It also includes audience interaction and emphasizes themes tied to Paris.
-
Cinemaphonic – A musical revue that blends classic Hollywood elements with modern pop music.
The first ship to roll out this new entertainment was the Azamara Pursuit, which received similar updates in late April.
In addition to these unique shows, the fleet will also debut two new productions: “Written in the Stars” and “Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions.” These shows are set to take place on the Azamara Quest on November 26, 2026, and the Azamara Onward on April 13, 2027.
