Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has introduced two new extended itineraries for its 2027 Great Lakes program, replacing three previously planned shorter cruises. This adjustment increases the total to four voyages aboard the Hanseatic Inspiration.
The new 21-day voyages for 2027 will connect all five Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River for the first time. The itineraries are as follows:
- Milwaukee to Halifax: August 20 – September 10, 2027
- Halifax to Milwaukee: September 10 – October 1, 2027
The decision to expand the itinerary options comes in response to the rising demand for more comprehensive expeditions throughout the Great Lakes.
Passengers can expect notable experiences, including stops at Lake Superior, Georgian Bay, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Montreal, and Quebec. Additionally, a highlight of the journey includes Tadoussac, famous for its whale-watching opportunities, where visitors may observe belugas and humpback whales at the meeting point of the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence River.
The pricing for these luxurious voyages starts at €15,490 per person, based on double occupancy.
