Carnival Cruise Line has opened a new pier and expanded amenities at its exclusive destination, RelaxAway, on Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas.
Christine Duffy, the president of Carnival Cruise Line, expressed excitement over this development, highlighting that the island’s natural beauty has always attracted guests. The new pier allows more ships to access this stunning destination, enhancing the overall guest experience.
With the expansion, visitors can now enjoy additional complimentary loungers and umbrellas, along with reservable cabanas and daybeds. The food and drink offerings have also seen improvements, including new venues like Orchid Beach Grill, Hibiscus Beach Grill, Luna Tide Beach Bar, Stay Awhile Beach Shack, and Lil’ Tiki Bar, which serve island-style meals, buffets, and drinks in beautiful beachfront locations.
A scenic walking route, Papaya Pathway, has been introduced for those looking to explore the area, complemented by a new tram service connecting various parts of the island. Additionally, the existing southern area of Half Moon Cay is undergoing enhancements with new designs and upgraded food and beverage services.
This destination is part of Carnival’s Paradise Collection, which includes other exclusive Caribbean and Bahamas cruise destinations, such as the recently reimagined Isla Tropicale in Roatán, Honduras.
