StarDream Cruises is set to host live screenings of the FIFA World Cup 26 matches aboard select ships. Guests can enjoy the excitement of the tournament while cruising on Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream and StarCruises’ Star Navigator and Star Voyager.
The matches will be broadcast via Sport 24 Special Event Channels from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises, stated that this initiative offers a unique way for guests to experience the thrill of the World Cup at sea, merging sports, travel, and celebration.
During the tournament, the Genting Dream will operate from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (via Port Klang), visiting exciting destinations such as Phuket, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Penang, and Melaka. Meanwhile, the Star Voyager will start its journey from Singapore, with calls to Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Tioman Island, Pangkor Island, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur. After July 3, it will reposition to Hong Kong for sailings to Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Kaohsiung, Penghu, and Xiamen, continuing to offer live screenings.
The Star Navigator will operate from Keelung, featuring itineraries in Japan with stops in Okinawa, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Kochi, and Osaka.
In addition to the match screenings, soccer fans on board can participate in themed activities, including sail-away parties, football quizzes, mini games, and various recreational events designed to enhance the overall experience.
