Carnival Unveils Exciting New Dining Options for Its Fleet and Upcoming Ships

Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled a new culinary initiative named "The Next Course," aimed at enhancing dining experiences across its fleet. This program will feature new dining options and bars on its upcoming ships, the Carnival Festivale and Carnival Tropicale, which are set to enter service in 2027 and 2028.

The initiative was announced during an event in New Orleans, hosted by Chief Culinary Officer Emeril Lagasse, where attendees received an exclusive preview of what to expect from Carnival’s culinary future. Christine Duffy, the president of Carnival Cruise Line, remarked that the dining experience, paired with exceptional service, significantly contributes to the company’s success.

Among the highlights of "The Next Course" are specialty restaurants and bars that include Emeril’s Coastal Seafood, featuring coastal cuisine inspired by Emeril Lagasse. The Carnival Festivale will uniquely introduce a Mediterranean-themed venue called Fetaccine, serving a blend of Italian and Greek dishes, and Le Bistro Musicale, which will showcase classic French favorites in a lively Parisian environment.

Additionally, a Hawaiian-themed venue, Uku Lei Lei, will present Asian classics. The Carnival Festivale will also launch new bars like The Spark, which will present live performances and cocktails inspired by famous songs, and Mix, where guests can order creatively crafted drinks.

Beyond the new venues on the ships, Carnival is initiating fleetwide culinary enhancements. This includes revamped menus in the Main Dining Rooms featuring new options for breakfast, brunch, and dinner. The Lido Marketplace will introduce a family-friendly menu with kid-approved favorites, while BlueIguana Cantina will offer daily specials.

Carnival is also implementing a "Bagels @ Sea" concept, serving freshly baked bagels with various toppings. Other features include elevated multi-course dinners at the Chef’s Table and fast-casual options like Fruity & Frosted Breakfast Bars and Ice Cream and Milkshake Bars. To streamline dining experiences, the cruise line is expanding grab-and-go options and mobile ordering, alongside introducing Express Dining for quicker meals in the Main Dining Rooms.

These new initiatives aim to provide guests with an unforgettable culinary journey while cruising.
