Marella Cruises has announced the return of its adult-only country music-themed cruise, "Country Rhythms," set to take place aboard the Marella Explorer in November 2027. The decision was made following the strong demand for the cruise’s inaugural season in February 2026, which saw successful booking results.
Chris Hackney, CEO of Marella Cruises, expressed excitement about the upcoming second season, noting that the positive statistics from the first cruise and ongoing market research indicated a strong interest in themed cruises that combine popular country music with Marella’s all-inclusive offerings.
The "Country Rhythms" cruise will feature a lineup of live country music acts and various country-themed activities, including a Barn Dance bash, production shows, and line dancing classes. Specific details regarding the artists performing will be announced later.
Guests will have two sailing options:

A four-night cruise from November 11 to November 15, 2027, beginning in Malaga, Spain, and visiting Gibraltar, Puerto del Rosario in Fuerteventura, with the journey concluding in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.

A five-night cruise from November 11 to November 16, 2027, which follows a similar route but adds a final stop at Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Both sailings will include TUI Airways flights from six regional airports across the UK, including London Gatwick, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Belfast. The cruises will go on sale starting July 2, 2026.
