Azamara Cruises Teams Up with Premier Golf to Introduce Exciting Global Golf Voyage Program

Azamara Cruises has partnered with Premier Golf to offer a unique series of golf-focused cruises beginning in 2028. This collaboration merges Azamara’s Destination Immersion® initiative with specialized golfing experiences across various regions including Europe, Asia, the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand. Passengers can anticipate access to some of the world’s top golf courses as part of extended cruise itineraries.

The inaugural program will consist of 23 sailings that will visit renowned golfing destinations. Notably, Asia will play a significant role, coinciding with Azamara’s 2028 itinerary expansion, which covers immersive experiences in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.

With packages facilitated by Premier Golf, passengers on select cruises can enjoy rounds at prestigious courses such as:

  • Seven Mile Beach Golf Club, Tasmania
  • Cabot Bordeaux Golf Club, France
  • New South Wales Golf Club, Australia
  • Valderrama, Spain
  • Tokyo Golf Club, Japan
  • Royal Portrush, Northern Ireland
  • Kingsbarns, Scotland
  • Old Head Golf Links, Kinsale, Ireland

Designed for golf enthusiasts, including PGA professionals and golf clubs, this program integrates destination-oriented voyages with organized golfing activities ashore. Participants will benefit from onboard golf-themed activities, educational presentations, and social events, along with the option for pre- and post-cruise resort golf packages to further enhance their travel experience.

Azamara emphasized that this partnership aligns with its focus on providing destination-driven experiences, allowing guests to explore celebrated golf venues while enjoying the perks of its small-ship offerings, like extended port stays. Premier Golf also highlighted that the longer stays in port would afford travelers more thorough access to golf destinations than conventional cruise schedules permit.

Every sailing will feature an onboard PGA professional who will lead golf-related lectures, organized excursions, and social gatherings for passengers passionate about golf. Furthermore, travel advisors can take advantage of a commission structure, receiving 10% on golf package sales, complemented by specialized training from Azamara World Academy.

More specific details about the 2028 golf cruise program, including sailing dates and booking options, will be announced in the upcoming months.
