Hapag-Lloyd has announced that the Europa 2 will host three Art 2 Sea themed cruises in 2027, with each cruise focusing on the art from a different region. The cruises will offer unique shore experiences, developed in collaboration with gallerists, art collectors, curators, and art experts.
Art is already a core part of the onboard experience with approximately 890 original works displayed from international artists. Lisa Wilken, head of luxury cruises at Hapag-Lloyd, commented on the initiative: “With Art 2 Sea, we are consistently developing the Europa 2 as a platform for unique cultural encounters.” Each cruise will feature its own curatorial signature, with renowned hosts from the art world adding their expertise and passion for art.
