Aman at Sea has reached an important milestone with the float-out of its first cruise ship, the Amangati, at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy. This significant event was announced with anticipation, marking a step forward in the journey of Aman at Sea.
Jonathan Wilson, the president and CEO of Aman at Sea, expressed his excitement, noting that seeing the Amangati afloat is a culmination of years of design, craftsmanship, and vision. He thanked the T. Mariotti shipyard and everyone involved in the project, emphasizing that each subsequent step moves them closer to welcoming guests aboard the ship, set to start its operations in May 2027.
The Amangati will embark on a six-night voyage from Palma de Mallorca to Nice on May 7, 2027. This journey will open its inaugural Mediterranean season, featuring a series of trips ranging from five to eight nights across the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian, and Aegean seas. Reservations are now open for this introductory season, as well as for the upcoming Caribbean voyages planned for fall 2027.
