This new schedule reflects a significant expansion of the vessel’s deployment across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the South Pacific, following its previous seasons in 2024 and 2025.
Marking a blend of expedition cruises and land journeys, the new itineraries will take Scenic Eclipse II to various breathtaking locations, including the Kimberley, Tasmania, and destinations such as Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and other South Pacific islands. Particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of voyages during Japan’s famous cherry blossom season, along with stops at places like Palau, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
In Tasmania, Scenic Eclipse II is slated to visit King Island, Bruny Island, and various national parks along the western coast. The expeditions will also extend to less accessible areas in regions like Indonesian Papua and Papua New Guinea. The Kimberley Coast, Australia’s Top End, and the Great Barrier Reef are anticipated to attract keen interest, as the new ocean collection has already been generating significant demand.
Additionally, Scenic is enhancing its offerings with customized land journeys that can be paired with select Scenic Eclipse II cruises. These journeys will cover regions in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the South Pacific, incorporating luxury accommodations at locations like Kokomo Private Island in Fiji and The Capitol Hotel Tokyu in Tokyo.
For guests booked at the Best Available fare, select 2028-29 voyages will include a complimentary 20-minute helicopter flightseeing experience, subject to availability and regulations. Enhanced experiences will also be available for guests in Penthouse Suites and Chairman’s Club members.
