Cunard has announced the addition of three new business development managers to its North America sales team, aiming to enhance support for travel advisors and key accounts across various regions including the Northeast, Southeast, Western U.S., and Canada. This strategic move is designed to foster stronger relationships with travel advisors, consortia, and key accounts, thereby boosting awareness and sales of Cunard’s offerings.
Liz Fettes, Senior Vice President of Commercial North America, highlighted the importance of travel advisors in the company’s growth strategy, stating that "Florentina, Ruth, and Ian bring deep industry experience and a relationship-driven approach that will help us strengthen our valued trade partnerships."
Ruth Fernandez, who previously led Cunard’s Partner Support team, has been promoted to business development manager for key accounts in the Western USA & Canada. With over 20 years of experience, she transitioned into her new role starting July 6, expecting full integration by the end of August.
Florentina Florescu joins as the business development manager for the Northeast Region, bringing more than 25 years of travel industry experience in luxury travel planning and sales from previous roles at Alex + Roberts, Star Clippers, and Kuoni Group Travel Experts.
Ian O’Ryan completes the new trio as the business development manager for the Southeast Region, with nearly 20 years of experience across sales and strategic account management with companies such as Rocky Mountaineer, Oceania Cruises, MSC Cruises, and Expedia Group.
Cunard has also announced plans to further expand its Partner Support team to enhance its service to travel advisors across North America.
