Serrano Steps In as New Costa Americas Region Director, Succeeding Rustico

Jorge Serrano Martín de Vidales has been appointed as the new Americas region director for Costa Cruises, taking over from Dario Rustico, who will be leaving the company on September 14 to pursue personal goals. Rustico has dedicated over two decades to Costa, and his contributions are acknowledged by Luigi Stefanelli, the worldwide sales vice president, who expressed gratitude for Rustico’s service.

Serrano brings a wealth of commercial expertise and a robust record of driving growth in various markets. His experience includes leading trade sales for Costa in Spain and Portugal. He will officially transition into his new role in January 2027, after completing his move to the Costa Brazil offices, during which time the Americas Region team will report directly to Stefanelli.

Expressing his excitement about the new position, Serrano emphasized the importance of the Americas region and the opportunity to work with talented teams to foster sustainable growth.
