Disney’s 2027-28 Season: New York Returns and Expanded Port Destinations

Disney Cruise Line has announced its itineraries for the fall 2027 and spring 2028 seasons, featuring a return to New York City and a range of new destinations. The cruise line will offer more options from Canada to Mexico, increased sailings from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a new stop in Panama for select sailings departing from Singapore.

Bookings will be phased, starting for Castaway Club Members and select guests on August 31, 2026, with general bookings opening on September 8, 2026. Tracy Wilson, Disney Cruise Line’s senior vice president and general manager, emphasized the line’s commitment to family cruising and the introduction of new ports.

The Disney Wish will return to New York City for the first time since 2023, starting with seven special voyages ranging from four to seven nights. Destinations will include Bermuda, and New England ports such as Boston, St. John, and Halifax. Additionally, the Wish will sail to San Juan, Puerto Rico, on both a five-night cruise and a seven-night Southern Caribbean itinerary, before moving to Port Canaveral.

The Disney Magic will embark on two repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal, with a maiden call at Fuerte Amador, Panama City, in November 2027, and Colon, Panama, in March 2028.

In Florida, three Wish-class ships will call Port Canaveral home starting in November 2027. The new Disney Destiny will offer three- to seven-night sailings, while the Disney Treasure will continue with seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Disney Dream will also operate from Port Canaveral with Bahamian-themed cruises.

On the West Coast, the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will sail from San Diego, covering destinations in Baja and the Mexican Riviera.

In Singapore, the Disney Adventure will have new three- and four-night sailings, expanding to include Langkawi, Malaysia, as a new port from December 2026 through May 2027.

The holiday season will feature themed cruises such as Halloween on the High Seas in September and Very Merrytime cruises in November and December 2027.
