Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas has returned to Sydney for its second Australian season. The 2015-built ship made its Australian debut last year, with cruises ranging from two to 18 nights.
This summer, the ship will operate 21 itineraries, offering three- to nine-night cruises around the South Pacific and 12-night voyages to New Zealand. Australian East Coast options include three- to eight-night trips visiting destinations such as Hobart and Queensland.
South Pacific itineraries of seven to nine nights will call at Nouméa in New Caledonia and Port Vila and Mystery Island in Vanuatu. Longer voyages will explore New Zealand, including Picton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Milford Sound.
Royal Caribbean also plans to send Quantum of the Seas from Brisbane on 28 itineraries of three to nine nights, covering Queensland and the South Pacific. The company’s Wiggly-themed family holidays will return on both ships, with appearances by The Wiggly Friends characters.
The ship’s Australian debut last year marked the start of its first season in the region.
