The UK-based Riviera River Cruises has recently rebranded as Riviera Travel, aligning its river cruising operations with its wider portfolio of ultra-premium travel experiences. This rebranding is aimed at expanding the company’s footprint in the USA market and incorporates a refreshed brand identity along with new travel offerings.

Marilyn Conroy, Executive VP of Marketing and Sales, stated that the rebrand represents the company’s evolving services. With a rich history spanning over 40 years in high-end tours, the unified name seeks to better resonate with discerning American travelers interested in luxurious European vacations.

To add convenience for travel advisors and clients alike, Riviera Travel is introducing bundled travel packages, which encompass air travel, transfers, river cruises, and pre- and post-cruise stays. This streamlined approach simplifies the booking process, ensuring all packages are fully commissionable for travel advisors. Notably, commissions will be paid out two weeks prior to clients’ departure, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its travel partners.

In 2025, Riviera Travel plans to provide various incentives for travel advisors, including US$50 vouchers for seven-night bookings and US$100 vouchers for bookings lasting ten nights or more. Furthermore, the company is introducing new itineraries and onboard enhancements. Highlighted offerings include combination cruises that span up to 29 consecutive days and themed cruises tailored to specific interests, such as "Gastronomy of the Douro" and "Art and History on the Danube." Onboard improvements will feature a premium drinks package and regionally-inspired enhancements to elevate guest experiences.
