Viva Cruises Celebrates the Christening of Its Newest Ship, Viva Enjoy, in Düsseldorf, Germany

Viva Cruises, a leading European river cruise operator and subsidiary of Scylla, recently launched its latest vessel, Viva Enjoy, in a ceremonial event on January 14th at its homeport in Düsseldorf, Germany. The ship, which can accommodate 190 passengers, is a sister to the recently constructed Viva Two.

The christening ceremony was led by Jeannine Williamson, a well-regarded travel writer and expert in river cruising, known as "the river cruise queen" for having completed over 60 river cruises worldwide.

Viva Enjoy will begin service with 4-night wellness-themed voyages on the Upper and Middle Rhine, which include daily yoga and qi gong sessions aimed at improving well-being. After this introductory period, the ship’s primary operations will shift to the Danube, with regular departures from Vienna, alongside additional routes on the Rhine from Amsterdam.

This four-deck ship boasts three dining options: the main restaurant, Riverside, an Italian restaurant called Moments, and Viva’s Bistro located at the rear, which features a rotating menu of Asian-inspired and Italian-Mediterranean cuisine on select evenings. Viva Cruises describes its fleet as providing a "floating premium hotel experience," emphasizing modern design and a friendly atmosphere. Onboard amenities include a sun deck with a pool and complimentary bicycles available for guests during port visits.
