Resorts World Cruises Rebrands New Ship Star Scorpio as Star Voyager

Resorts World Cruises has revealed plans to rebrand its third vessel, previously known as Star Scorpio, as the Star Voyager. This new identity will take effect when the ship begins operations on March 26, 2025.

The Star Voyager will focus its journeys in Southeast Asia until July 21, 2025, with Singapore designated as its main homeport. It will also utilize Jakarta, Malacca, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City as alternative homeports, allowing passengers to embark from multiple key cities during certain sailings, especially during school holiday periods. Travelers can expect visits to destinations including Medan, Pulau Redang, and Koh Samui.

The itinerary from Singapore includes multiple options:

• Ten roundtrip cruises of 6 days and 5 nights between Malacca and Jakarta, scheduled from March 26 to April 15 and June 11 to July 1.
• Five roundtrip cruises of the same duration from Bangkok to Koh Samui, from April 20 to May 10.
• Three roundtrip 5-day/4-night cruises from Koh Samui to Pulau Redang, scheduled for May 15-23.
• Five roundtrip cruises of 4 days and 3 nights from Malacca to Medan, with dates from May 27 to June 8.
• Four final cruises of 6 days and 5 nights from Malacca to Ho Chi Minh City, running from July 6 to July 21.

Departures from Jakarta will be available in two phases: March 29 to April 13 and June 14 to 29, while Bangkok will see cruises during the Thai school holiday season from April 22 to May 7.

To culminate its Southeast Asia journey, the Star Voyager will make history as the first international cruise ship to homeport in Ho Chi Minh City, offering roundtrip cruises from Singapore and Malacca between July 9 and July 24, 2025, aligning with Vietnamese school holidays.
