Seabourn Quest Set to Launch Exciting Alaska Expedition in 2025
The ultra-luxury expedition cruise line Seabourn is set to make its debut in Alaska during the 2025 season with the inaugural arrival of the Seabourn Quest. From May to September 2025, the ship will operate 18 seven-day itineraries between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Juneau, Alaska.
Guests will have the opportunity to engage in the "Ventures by Seabourn" program, which offers various optional shore excursions focused on expedition-style activities such as hiking, kayaking, and Zodiac boat explorations. These excursions will take travelers to stunning destinations, including Hubbard Glacier, Tracy Arm, Endicott Arm, the Inian Islands, and Rudyerd Bay within the Misty Fjords, as well as Alert Bay in British Columbia.
Each excursion will be led by the ship’s expedition team, comprised of experts in natural history, ecology, and regional heritage, who will share insights about the areas visited. Highlights will include kayaking near the impressive Hubbard Glacier, hiking along the Rainbow Falls Trail in Wrangell, and Zodiac cruises navigating Tracy Arm towards Sawyer and Dawes Glaciers. Guests will have opportunities to witness wildlife, including birds, mountain goats, sea lions, and harbor seals, depending on conditions.
