Explora Journeys Launches Mediterranean Cruises Aboard EXPLORA II from Barcelona
On April 2, 2025, MSC’s luxury brand, Explora Journeys, launched its Mediterranean Journeys Collection with the first sailing of the EXPLORA II from Barcelona, Spain. This event also marked the opening of the new MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal, designed by the Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura. The terminal boasts expansive glass facades, enhancing natural light and providing a sophisticated environment that aligns seamlessly with the Explora Journeys experience.
The Mediterranean Journeys Collection features voyages aboard EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II, visiting popular and less-visited gems across the Western and Eastern Mediterranean. Passengers can look forward to exploring cultural wonders in Italy, Greece, Türkiye, France, and Spain, as well as hidden treasures like Skiathos, Portofino, St. Tropez, and Mahón.
