Celebrity Beyond Sets Sail: Miami Homeport Operations Now Underway!

On May 4th, the Celebrity Beyond, an EDGE-class vessel operated by Celebrity Cruises, made its debut at PortMiami, officially beginning its homeport operations in the city. The ship arrived at Royal Caribbean’s Terminal A following a repositioning voyage that concluded a six-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.

Built in 2022, the Celebrity Beyond has a gross tonnage of 141,420 and can accommodate 3,260 passengers. The ship will offer alternating seven-night roundtrip itineraries to Eastern and Western Caribbean destinations from Miami until November 2026.

Eastern Caribbean itineraries will take passengers to popular ports like San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Nassau, Bahamas; and Basseterre, St. Kitts. The Western Caribbean routes will include Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas.

Guests aboard the Celebrity Beyond can look forward to a rich dining experience with 32 food and beverage venues, including eight specialty restaurants and four main dining rooms, alongside numerous casual dining options. The ship also features a variety of bars, lounges, and recreational facilities to enhance the overall passenger experience.

The Celebrity Beyond will continue to sail from its Miami base until November 2026, after which it is expected to return to Fort Lauderdale.
