Lindblad Expeditions to Launch European River Voyages in 2026 Using Transcend Cruises’ Vessels
Lindblad Expeditions has signed a multi-year charter agreement with Transcend Cruises, marking its entry into the European river cruise market. The collaboration will last until at least 2028 and will kick off in 2026, introducing a series of expedition-style voyages along European rivers.
The partnership will feature Transcend’s luxury riverboats, Transcend Connect and Transcend Evolve, which are specially designed to facilitate Lindblad’s programming. Each voyage will be overseen by Lindblad’s experienced expedition leaders, field staff, and National Geographic experts, ensuring guests benefit from rich explorations of charming riverside cities and small towns.
These riverboats, exclusively intended for chartering, will allow for customized itineraries tailored to align with Lindblad’s ethos of adventure and exploration. Onboard experiences will include lectures, guided excursions, and various educational activities that enhance the journey.
