CCL-Carnival Makes a Splash: Swapping Pepsi for Coca-Cola Across North American Fleet

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has announced a renewed partnership with The Coca-Cola Company, making it the preferred beverage provider for its North American fleet. Starting this summer, guests aboard the 13 U.S. homeport ships will be able to enjoy Coca-Cola products, including classic sodas, zero-sugar options, and flavored sparkling water. The complete roll-out of Coca-Cola beverages is expected by September 2025.

This decision marks a reversal of the switch to Pepsi products that occurred in late 2019. Carnival’s president, Christine Duffy, emphasized the connection between the two brands, highlighting shared values of fun and family. Duffy believes that bringing back Coca-Cola will enhance the onboard dining and refreshment experience.

Dagmar Boggs, president of North America Foodservice for Coca-Cola, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that the company looks forward to catering to guests’ beverage needs throughout their cruises—whether during meal times or at the pool.

Carnival’s ships in Australia have already been serving Coca-Cola products, indicating a unified beverage offering across its global fleet. This reinstatement aims to boost guest satisfaction and provide a familiar refreshment experience that aligns with Carnival’s hospitality standards.
