Regent Seven Seas Sets New Record for Ship Bookings: A Milestone in Luxury Cruising

Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced a record-breaking booking day for its new ship, Seven Seas Prestige, on June 25, 2025. This launch day surpassed the previous record set in 2018 for the Seven Seas Splendor by 26%.

Among the bookings, the Skyview Regent Suite, priced at $25,000 per night, sold out on six of its 13 available sailings, highlighting the demand for luxury accommodations. Jason Montague, the chief luxury officer for Regent, expressed his excitement about the overwhelming response, stating that they anticipated a strong interest from luxury travelers eager to reserve their suites.

The Seven Seas Prestige, set to be delivered in late 2026, represents a new class of ships for Regent. Weighing 77,000 tons, it will be 40% larger than previous vessels while accommodating only 10% more guests, totaling 822. The ship will be built at Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and will feature all-balcony suites along with a crew of 630.

During its inaugural season, the ship will offer 13 voyages across the Caribbean and Europe, with itineraries that focus on boutique ports and extended overnight stays.
