VIVA ENJOY Embarks on Its Inaugural Gourmet Danube Voyage
VIVA Cruises is set to launch its first gourmet river cruise aboard the VIVA ENJOY, scheduled for November 20-24, 2025. This inaugural voyage, named the Gourmet-Cruise Falstaff Edition, will embark on a five-day roundtrip from Vienna, making stops at the picturesque Austrian port cities of Krems, Melk, and Linz before returning to Vienna.
The cruise promises an exceptional culinary experience, featuring a specially selected crew of culinary experts. Among them is a bread sommelier, master coffee roaster Johanna Wechselberger, and Master of Wine Romana Echensperger, all set to lead tastings, design fine dining menus coupled with exquisite wine pairings, and guide guests through the relationship between bread, coffee, and wine in the context of modern Austrian cuisine.
Additional highlights of the itinerary include a gourmet tram tour in Vienna, a private dinner at the Albertina Museum, and a visit to the Sandgrube 13 winery in Krems.
Launched in January 2025, the VIVA ENJOY accommodates 190 passengers in its 95 staterooms and features three dining venues. The all-inclusive experience offers full board meals, an open bar, a minibar, high tea, Wi-Fi, premium beauty products from Rituals, and all gratuities. The ship boasts a wellness area and solar-assisted systems, enhancing its modern Scandinavian-inspired design.
