Majestic Princess Sets Sail for Boston on Exciting Repositioning Cruise
The Majestic Princess has embarked on a repositioning cruise from Southampton to Canada and New England, beginning its journey on July 18, 2025. This 15-night trans-Atlantic voyage features stops at several destinations in Iceland and Canada, including Reykjavik, Isafjord, and Grundarfjordur, followed by visits to Charlottetown, Sydney, and Halifax.
Upon reaching its new homeport in Boston, the Majestic Princess will launch its inaugural fall foliage season in the region, offering seven-night roundtrip cruises that visit Portland, Halifax, Sydney, Eastport, and Saint John. In September, the ship will also operate open-jaw itineraries transitioning between Quebec City and Boston.
After concluding its East Coast deployment, the 141,000-ton vessel will reposition to Fort Lauderdale for Caribbean itineraries. Prior to arriving in Florida, the Majestic Princess will offer a 14-night itinerary titled “Canada and Colonial America,” sailing from Quebec City to Port Everglades, with stops in Saguenay, Charlottetown, Sydney, Halifax, Boston, New York City, Newport, and Norfolk.
For the winter season of 2025-26, the Royal-class ship will provide six- to eight-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale, featuring routes into the Western, Southern, and Eastern Caribbean. Originally crafted for the Asian market, the Majestic Princess was built at Fincantieri shipyard in 2017 and recently underwent a major refurbishment in Italy, unveiling new venues and dining options, including O’Malley’s Irish Pub and the Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar.
