Costa Cruises Adjusts Winter 2025–2026 Itineraries in Response to Middle East Instability

Costa Cruises has revamped its plans for the winter 2025–2026 season, particularly moving away from operations initially scheduled in the UAE due to ongoing regional instability. The cruise line has decided to suspend Costa Toscana’s Middle East program, which included planned itineraries from Dubai, and instead retain the vessel in the Western Mediterranean.

Costa Toscana’s winter sailings to Gulf destinations have been canceled, with the ship now set to offer 7-night voyages in Southern Europe and North Africa until November 13, 2025. Furthermore, the previously planned repositioning cruises to and from Dubai for autumn 2025 and spring 2026 are also off the table.

In light of these cancellations, Costa Cruises is introducing a revised winter program focused on Mediterranean destinations. The new itineraries aim to provide guests with rich cultural experiences and pleasant climates, ensuring a fulfilling cruise experience despite the changes.

Elsewhere in the fleet, Costa Fortuna will continue to offer week-long voyages to the Canary Islands, which include various ports of call and the opportunity for passengers to explore the islands’ stunning landscapes. Meanwhile, Costa Fascinosa and Costa Pacifica will proceed with their Caribbean itineraries, allowing travelers to immerse themselves in the region’s natural beauty and vibrant cultures.
