Carnival Panorama Expands Mexican Riviera Cruises Through Spring 2028 with CCL

Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) has announced an extension of its Carnival Panorama ship’s deployment from Long Beach, California, through spring 2028. This expansion introduces over 50 new cruises, which will feature itineraries that alternate between 6- and 8-night sailings along Mexico’s Pacific Riviera.

The 6-night voyages will provide extended stays in Cabo San Lucas, renowned for its beaches, nightlife, and water sports, alongside a stop in Ensenada, famous for its wine country and coastal attractions. The 8-night cruises will offer a more comprehensive Mexican Riviera experience, with stops at Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta, allowing guests to engage with historic towns, cultural districts, fine dining, art galleries, and beautiful beaches.

Carnival Panorama will maintain its year-round homeport in Long Beach, serving West Coast travelers with this enhanced schedule until at least April 2028. The Baja California and Mexican Riviera routes have been operational since 2018.

This deployment aligns with CCL’s broader strategy to enhance regional service. In addition to the Panorama, the company’s other ships—Carnival Legend, Carnival Spirit, and Carnival Luminosa—will be set to sail to Alaska from Seattle and San Francisco, while Carnival Dream is expected to move to New Orleans in May 2027, which will further bolster the company’s presence across multiple North American homeports.
