Experience the Thrill: Celestyal’s Formula 1 Cruise Brings Grand Prix Action to the Arabian Gulf
Celestyal Cruises is set to launch an exciting sports-themed itinerary in December 2025 aboard the Celestyal Journey. This unique cruise, titled "Desert Days & Abu Dhabi Grand Prix," offers guests the chance to experience the thrilling Abu Dhabi Grand Prix while enjoying the luxury of a cruise in the Arabian Gulf.
The cruise features two options. The first is a 7-night "Sail & Stay" package that departs on December 4, 2025. This package includes two nights at a 4-star hotel in Abu Dhabi, extensive access to the Grand Prix weekend which encompasses practice sessions, qualifying rounds, and the race itself. Following this, guests will embark on a 5-night cruise with stops in Dubai (including an overnight stay) and Sir Bani Yas Island.
The second option is a 5-night cruise-only package departing on December 6, 2025. This option focuses solely on the marine experience and includes race-day access, along with the same port visits as the first itinerary.
Both travel options cover essential cruise inclusions such as track transfers, daily meals, soft drinks, Wi-Fi, port fees, gratuities, a welcome cocktail reception, and an exclusive beachside event on Sir Bani Yas Island. Prices start at approximately $2,138 for the 7-night package and around $1,418 for the cruise-only option.
Notable guest speakers will include former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard and sports commentator Laura Winter, who will provide insights and engage in Q&A sessions related to strategy and behind-the-scenes happenings in Formula 1 racing.
