Celebrity Unveils New River Ships Compass and Seeker for the 2027 Season

Celebrity Cruises is expanding its offerings into the realm of river cruising with the introduction of two new ships, the Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker, both set to launch in 2027. These vessels will incorporate the stylish and sophisticated design of the Edge-class ocean liners, providing an elegant experience as they navigate Europe’s renowned Rhine and Danube rivers.

Priority Booking Access is currently available, enabling future passengers to reserve staterooms with a fully refundable deposit of $500.

These ships boast innovative architecture, designed to maximize vacation space compared to previous river vessels. Onboard features include open decks that provide stunning 360° views and unique dining experiences such as the “Magic Edge,” cantilevered dining pods that hover above the water. Guests will also enjoy top deck bars, shaded lounging areas, and an infinity-edge plunge pool.

Accommodations will consist of 86 staterooms in five different categories, including options like the River View and Infinite Balcony, as well as the deluxe Skylight Infinite Balcony Suite and Vista Balcony Suite. Each room will be fitted with king-sized beds, ample storage, and large windows to enhance natural light. Higher-end suites will include exclusive benefits such as butler service, gourmet dining options, and priority bookings for excursions.

The inaugural cruises will consist of 33 voyages lasting seven nights, featuring itineraries that explore cultural treasures along the Rhine and Danube. Highlights include visits to vibrant Christmas Markets, picturesque valley scenery, and iconic cities like Vienna, Budapest, Strasbourg, and Amsterdam.
