CCL’s Carnival Firenze Announces Extended Itineraries for 2027: A New Era of Exploration!
CCL’s Carnival Firenze will undergo a repositioning plan in 2027, as the cruise line has officially announced new sailing reservations for this ship. Known for promoting the "Carnival Fun Italian Style" experience, the Firenze will be moving to the east coast of the USA.
Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, praised the Firenze, calling it a stunning vessel and highlighting the opportunity it presents to cruise to culturally rich destinations. The new itineraries include journeys to South America, standing out within the Carnival Journeys program that offers longer and immersive travel options.
Kicking off in early January, the 2027 schedule features a first voyage departing from Long Beach, California, to San Antonio (Santiago), Chile. This 15-day journey will include stops in Acapulco, Mexico; Manta, Ecuador; and Callao (Lima), Peru, and will cross the Equator. Mid-January will see a subsequent 14-day trip from Santiago to Buenos Aires, Argentina, showcasing scenic cruising through the Darwin Channel and Chilean Fjords, with ports of call at Ushuaia, Puerto Madryn, and Montevideo.
A notable final leg in early February will take guests from Buenos Aires to Miami, which coincides with the Brazilian Carnival. This journey will feature stops in Brazil, including Rio de Janeiro and Maceio, along with a potential opportunity to witness an annular solar eclipse while crossing the Equator.
After these extensive voyages, the Carnival Firenze will have Miami as its temporary homeport between February and May 2027, offering Caribbean cruises ranging from 4 to 13 days. These itineraries will include shorter trips to the Bahamas as well as longer voyages throughout the Caribbean, stopping at popular ports like Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Barbados.
Following the Miami season, the Firenze is set to reposition to New York City for the summer of 2027. More scheduling details for the Firenze and the complete CCL fleet are expected to be released as part of the broader 2027-2028 schedule soon.
