The Brilliant Lady has officially launched its inaugural season with Virgin Voyages, setting sail from New York City on September 5, 2025. The ship embarked on a five-night cruise to Bermuda, which includes an overnight stay at King’s Wharf and two days of scenic cruising in the Atlantic.
As part of its first season, the Brilliant Lady will offer a range of itineraries along North America’s East Coast, covering New England, Canada, and Bermuda. In addition to New York City, the ship will also depart from Quebec City for some of its five to 13-night cruises.
Weighing in at 140,000 tons, the ship will reposition to Miami later this year, where it will operate during the winter season in the Caribbean. Looking ahead, in 2026, the Brilliant Lady will make its debut in the West Coast and Alaska, with itineraries planned from Los Angeles, Seattle, and Vancouver.
Originally scheduled to enter service in late 2023, the ship’s launch was delayed due to unforeseen construction, supply chain, and staffing challenges. Delivering the ship in early 2024, Virgin Voyages later announced the new maiden season in May 2024. The Brilliant Lady is now the fourth vessel in Virgin Voyages’ fleet, following the Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, and Resilient Lady, all of which cater exclusively to adults, offering itineraries across Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean.
