In a move to cater to guests who prefer non-alcoholic options, CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has launched the CHEERS! Zero Proof beverage package. This new offering, priced at $29.99 per person per day if booked before sailing (or $34.99 onboard), can be purchased through Carnival.com.
The CHEERS! Zero Proof package includes a diverse selection of unlimited alcohol-free beverages, such as Coca-Cola products, various juices, still and sparkling bottled water (including coconut water), premium coffee and teas, as well as non-alcoholic beer, zero-proof cocktails, and more.
Carnival’s president, Christine Duffy, stated that this package was introduced to meet the demand for a comprehensive non-alcoholic option, providing more variety than the existing Bottomless Bubbles soda package while mirroring the flexibility of the full CHEERS! package—sans alcohol.
As with other beverage packages on Carnival, the CHEERS! Zero Proof must be purchased for the entire duration of the cruise, offers a limit of one drink per serving, and is non-transferable. Some drinks, such as non-alcoholic beer and sparkling wine, require the consumer to be at least 21 years old. The package is applicable only while onboard the ship and does not extend to port destinations or onshore venues like Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay.
This addition marks the fourth beverage package offered by Carnival, joining the existing Bottomless Bubbles, Cruise the Vineyard (wine), and the original CHEERS! package.
