Hamburg Cruise Days Celebrate Their 10th Edition in September 2025
The 10th edition of the Hamburg Cruise Days is set to take place from September 12 to 14, 2025, featuring a vibrant celebration at the Port of Hamburg, Germany. This event will welcome numerous cruise ships and include a spectacular evening parade on Saturday, where illuminated vessels will cruise along the Elbe, accompanied by music and fireworks. Attendees can enjoy a variety of culinary and entertainment options onshore.
Coinciding with the Cruise Days, the Seatrade Europe trade fair will kick off on September 10, allowing public access for the first time. Over 250 exhibitors and approximately 3,500 delegates from more than 90 countries are expected to attend. The three-day conference, themed "Future Forward," will focus on technological and infrastructural advancements in the cruise industry. Special access on September 12 will invite 500 consumers to participate in the fair.
Additionally, the Blue Port Hamburg light installation, designed by local artist Michael Batz, will adorn the harbor in blue light from September 10 to 28. This year’s exhibition coincides with the 140th anniversary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA).
The previous Hamburg Cruise Days in 2023 saw over 250,000 visitors, contributing to a record-breaking 1.2 million cruise passengers reported in the city, highlighting the robust growth of its cruise sector.
