Hamburg Cruise Days Celebrates a Decade of Maritime Magic: Join Us for the 10th Edition in September 2025!
The 10th Hamburg Cruise Days will take place from September 12 to 14, 2025, celebrating maritime culture at the Port of Hamburg. This year promises an exciting lineup, including multiple cruise ships and a traditional evening parade, where illuminated vessels will glide along the Elbe River, accompanied by music and fireworks.
In addition to the festivities, the Seatrade Europe trade fair will begin on September 10, welcoming industry professionals and the public for the first time. More than 250 exhibitors and approximately 3,500 delegates from over 90 countries are expected to participate. A three-day conference titled "Future Forward" will explore technological and infrastructural advancements in the cruise sector. On September 12, a program called "Destination Discovery Friday" will allow up to 500 consumers to attend the fair, providing a unique opportunity to engage with the industry.
The festival will also feature the Blue Port Hamburg light installation, running from September 10 to 28. Created by local artist Michael Batz, this installation will illuminate various port structures, bridges, and vessels along the Elbe in stunning blue light, coinciding with the 140th anniversary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA).
The upcoming event follows a successful turnout in 2023, which saw over 250,000 visitors during the Hamburg Cruise Days, and a record of 1.2 million cruise passengers at the port, marking a significant milestone for the local cruise industry.
