Crystal Unveils Exciting Crystal On Broadway Themed Voyage
Crystal is set to launch the next installment of its “Crystal on Broadway” series with a thematic voyage that combines cruising with captivating Broadway artistry, including performances and a workshop for “Ever After The Musical.”
Keith Cox, vice president of entertainment at Crystal, expressed excitement about these voyages, stating, “Our ‘Crystal on Broadway’ voyages are designed to bring the magic of Broadway directly to our guests.” He emphasized that the event highlights Crystal’s commitment to providing exceptional cultural experiences at sea.
The voyage will embark from New York (Bayonne) on October 31, 2025, aboard the Crystal Serenity. The nine-day journey will take guests to notable stops including Newport, Provincetown, Boston, Portland, and Saint John, New Brunswick, before returning to New York on November 8, 2025. Bookings for the sailing are now open.
Participants can expect to engage with a lineup of esteemed Broadway talents, such as:
- Kevin McCollum: Tony Award-winning producer known for hits like “RENT” and “In the Heights”
- Sierra Boggess: A celebrated star recognized for her performances in “The Little Mermaid” and “The Phantom of the Opera”
- Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich: The lyricist and composer duo of “Ever After The Musical”
- Marlo Hunter: Director and choreographer for “Ever After The Musical.”
The programming will feature:
- A mainstage performance by Sierra Boggess with accompaniment from Crystal Serenity’s show band.
- A workshop for “Ever After The Musical,” where the creative team will present songs and participate in a Q&A session.
- A performance by Heisler and Goldrich showcasing their musical works in a setting reminiscent of New York’s 54 Below.
