Viva Cruises Unveils Exciting 2027 Plans for Viva Unique in Italy

Viva Cruises has announced plans for its new ship, the Viva Unique, set to launch in 2027. This vessel will become the second addition to the Viva Boutique collection, following the Viva Beyond, which is scheduled to be launched in 2026.

The Viva Unique aims to provide guests with a curated experience that emphasizes Italy’s rich culinary heritage. CEO Andrea Kruse highlighted the company’s vision, stating, “We’re not just launching a ship; we’re creating a floating experience that celebrates the soul of Italian culture, cuisine and craftsmanship.”

The themed itineraries will focus on culinary exploration, art, culture, and lifestyle, highlighting less known ports and unique destinations. Among the destinations planned are the scenic lagoon islands of Mazzorbo and Burano, alongside Chioggia and Polesella, with optional excursions to Murano, Torcello, Verona, and Bologna.

The design of the Viva Unique seeks to blend modern aesthetics with the picturesque charm reflective of the Italian Dolce Vita. Onboard, guests will discover three dining venues: MOMENTS, VIVA’s Trattoria, and the main Riverside restaurant.

Accommodations will mirror those on the Viva Beyond, with over half of the cabins being suites, including newly introduced Unique Suites that provide up to 323 square feet of space. The ship will also boast a wellness area, a modern fitness room, and a sun deck with a pool that presents panoramic views of the Venetian Lagoon.

Viva Cruises promises a range of exclusive services tailored to each cabin category. For instance, guests in Twin Cabins and Junior Suites will receive a VIVA Boutique gift, themed excursions, and complimentary laundry service. Suite guests benefit from priority embarkation and airport transfers from Venice, while those in Unique Suites will enjoy additional perks such as in-suite breakfasts and a special experience with the captain and hotel manager. All itineraries will feature an all-inclusive offering.
