Storyland Studios Unveils Plans for New Pavilion at MSC Ocean Cay’s Marine Conservation Center
Storyland Studios has partnered with MSC Cruises and the MSC Foundation to design a new pavilion at the Marine Conservation Center located on Ocean Cay in the Bahamas. This facility, which opened in April 2025, is dedicated to marine research, education, and coral restoration efforts.
The Marine Conservation Center supports a range of activities for marine biologists, scientists, students, and visitors, featuring interactive pavilions, a lecture hall, a bio-lab, and a land-based coral nursery. It also serves as the operational hub for the MSC Foundation’s Super Coral Reefs program.
Storyland Studios aims to create an engaging pavilion that will enhance visitor experiences and support the conservation mission of the MSC Foundation. The design will focus on storytelling and environmental stewardship by considering visitor flow and site views within the natural context.
MSC Foundation leaders have emphasized that this new pavilion will elevate the Marine Conservation Center’s role as an educational hub, allowing thousands of annual visitors to connect more profoundly with coral ecosystems and conservation challenges.
