Riviera Travel UK Launches Riviera Alba: A New Adventure on the Mekong for 2027

Riviera Travel UK is set to enter the Asian cruise market with the introduction of the Riviera Alba, a new river vessel aimed at operating on the Mekong River starting in 2027. This announcement comes on the heels of the company’s launch of the first ship exclusively for solo travelers.

Now open for bookings, the 2027 cruise season offers promotional savings and airfare incentives. The Riviera Alba will accommodate 50 passengers in 25 suites, boasting features like panoramic river views, an open-air sun deck with a pool and jacuzzi, and various guest amenities. Onboard facilities will include a main restaurant serving both international and Asian cuisine, a lounge bar, a spa, a library, and complimentary Wi-Fi, all supported by a high crew-to-guest ratio for exceptional service.

The vessel’s inaugural 13-night itinerary, "Vietnam, Cambodia and Mekong River Cruise," includes 14 guided experiences and will visit popular ports like Phnom Penh and offer extended stays in Siem Reap for visits to the Angkor temple complex, including Angkor Wat. Prices start at $5,049 per person, with departures slated for September to December 2027.

In conjunction with its expansion into Asia, Riviera Travel has also unveiled its 2027 European program, which includes new solo itineraries such as "Budapest to the Black Sea" and "Cruise the Heart of Europe" covering the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers. Reservations made by November 16, 2025, may qualify for discounts of up to 50% on brochure rates for 2027 departures along with a two-for-one airfare credit, worth up to $1,500 per guest on select 2026 itineraries booked through Riviera by December 5, 2025.
