Celestyal Cruises Announces Deployment of Two Ships in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf for Winter 2025-2026

Celestyal Cruises has committed to expanding its presence in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf by deploying two ships, Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery, starting December 2025. This move represents a significant 211% increase in capacity from its initial program for winter 2024-2025.

In the updated deployment plan, two repositioning voyages have been revised from 14-night trips, originally titled "Ancient Athens to Amazing Abu Dhabi," to more manageable 7-night itineraries between Athens and Jeddah. Celestyal Journey will stop at ports such as Marmaris, Port Said, Sharm el Sheikh, and Safaga, while Celestyal Discovery will visit Kusadasi, Sharm el Sheikh, and Safaga before both finish in Jeddah. Shorter 6-night segments will also be provided from the Turkish ports.

Guests who originally booked the 14-night itineraries are not expected to face significant disruptions; instead, options for port changes or adjusted itineraries will be offered. After reaching Jeddah, both ships will head to Abu Dhabi to commence their Oklahoma Gulf seasons.

Celestyal Journey will set sail with a Grand Prix cruise on December 6, 2025, transitioning to a regular 7-night itinerary termed "Desert Days," covering Doha, Sir Bani Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Dubai, including an overnight stay.

On December 12, 2025, Celestyal Discovery will begin new 3-, 4-, and 7-night "Iconic Arabia" voyages from Abu Dhabi, visiting ports such as Doha, Khasab, Dubai, and Sir Bani Yas, with its maiden visit to Ras Al Khaimah.
