Global Ports Holding Launches Coastal Cleanup Initiative Across Its Network

Global Ports Holding (GPH), the world’s leading operator of cruise ports, marked International Coastal Cleanup Day with an extensive effort across its global network. The initiative, dubbed "From Every Port, For Every Coast," involved collaboration among port employees, local communities, cruise line partners, and other stakeholders. The primary goal was to combat marine litter and enhance the preservation of coastal environments.

Over 250 volunteers dedicated more than 20 hours to collecting over one ton of waste from shorelines, beaches, and nearby coastal areas. In addition to cleaning, participants gathered data to contribute to international research efforts aimed at understanding marine pollution better.
