Star Clippers Unveils Exciting Grand Voyages for 2026-2027

Star Clippers has announced its schedule for the 2026-2027 Grand Voyages season, featuring over 50 sailings on its three tall ships: Star Clipper, Star Flyer, and Royal Clipper. This season will cover various itineraries across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Atlantic, including transatlantic crossings, winter Caribbean voyages, and expanded port selection.

New ports of call have been introduced in the Mediterranean for the summer 2026 season, including Ouranoupoli (Greece), Barletta, Monopoli, Crotone, and Pesaro in Italy, along with Sibenik in Croatia and Gythio in Greece. These smaller ports enable closer access to secluded bays and historical coastal towns that are often overlooked by larger cruise ships.

For the winter 2026-2027 offerings, Star Clippers is launching new 7-night roundtrip journeys from St John’s, Antigua aboard Star Clipper, as well as a 10-night itinerary from Oranjestad, Aruba. St George’s in Grenada will serve as a homeport with 10- to 11-night sailings visiting Southern Caribbean destinations like Carriacou and Tobago Cays among others.

Transatlantic crossings will also be featured, with Royal Clipper sailing from Lisbon to Bridgetown in October 2026, and Star Flyer making its way from Las Palmas to St. Maarten in November. Star Clipper will follow suit with its own transatlantic route.

The Mediterranean program will also highlight themed or boutique sailing options. Both Star Clipper and Royal Clipper will facilitate cruises connecting Rome, Venice, Athens, and other significant ports, with special docking occasions in Venice’s Grand Canal. These shorter sailings will allow passengers to experience tall-ship sailing while visiting UNESCO heritage sites, historical cities, and cultural centers.

This revised routing reflects Star Clippers’ commitment to enhancing exploration and the classic allure of tall-ship sailing, offering less time at sea and more in port, often docking at smaller harbors away from larger cruise terminals. This aligns well with their goal to provide voyages that celebrate sailing heritage, cultural immersion, and scenic beauty.
