
PortMiami Set to Welcome 10 New Cruise Ships for the 2025-26 Season
PortMiami is set to welcome 10 new cruise ships for the 2025-26 season, including five newbuild vessels. The season kicks off in October 2025 with the arrival of Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth and Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady.
In November, Holland America’s Zuiderdam, Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Xcel, and Oceania Cruises’ Allura will make their debuts, followed by MSC Cruises’ Grandiosa in December. The incoming fleet continues into 2026 with:
- Windstar Cruises’ Star Seeker in January
- Holland America’s Eurodam in February
- Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Luna in March
- Silversea Cruises’ Silver Nova in May
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava emphasized the importance of these new additions in reinforcing Miami’s status as a global cruise hub and its commitment to boosting tourism and enhancing the local economy.
PortMiami has recently achieved significant milestones, notably registering its busiest passenger day on April 20, 2025, with over 72,000 guests, and hosting a record 10 cruise ships on February 8, 2025. Hydi Webb, PortMiami’s director and CEO, expressed excitement about welcoming the new ships, highlighting the strong partnerships built with cruise lines and reaffirming Miami’s position as a leading cruise destination.
The upcoming 2025-26 cruise season is anticipated to bring another wave of excitement and a seamless travel experience to guests arriving in South Florida.
