Celebrity Apex Docks at Port Canaveral: A New Era of Cruising Begins!
Port Canaveral has welcomed the Celebrity Apex, enhancing its cruise offerings just in time for the winter season. This new addition marks the beginning of a seven-night itinerary that includes voyages to The Bahamas and the Caribbean.
The Celebrity Apex, which is the second vessel in the Edge-class lineup, takes the place of the Celebrity Equinox, the ship that initiated Celebrity Cruises’ service from Port Canaveral last year. The arrival ceremony featured a traditional plaque exchange between Canaveral Port Authority Commissioner Kevin Markey and the ship’s captain, Panagiotis Skylogiannis.

As the second busiest cruise port globally, Port Canaveral continues to attract guests, with approximately 75% choosing to drive to their sailing, making it a popular departure point.
