Oceania and Regent Seven Seas Cruises Unveil PressReader Digital Platform for Enhanced Guest Experience
Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises have rolled out the PressReader digital platform across their fleets, allowing guests access to thousands of newspapers, magazines, and eBooks on their personal devices.
This new service was initially launched on the Oceania Allura and Seven Seas Navigator, with plans to implement it on the remaining 14 vessels of both brands by November. This shift aims to gradually replace printed newspapers at sea, reflecting a commitment to guest convenience and sustainability goals.
The PressReader platform enables travelers to connect through each ship’s Starlink internet service, providing a wide range of major international publications such as The New York Times and The Economist, in addition to regional and lifestyle magazines available in multiple languages. It supports offline reading, allowing passengers to download materials for shore excursions or flights.
Access to PressReader is complimentary for all guests, regardless of their suite class or loyalty status. The platform also enables the cruise lines to distribute proprietary digital content, including onboard magazines.
