Silversea Celebrates the 2025 Venetian Society Reunion Voyage Aboard Silver Spirit
Silversea Cruises has successfully concluded its 2025 Venetian Society Reunion Voyage aboard the Silver Spirit. The event, which took place from October 17th to 29th, attracted an unprecedented number of Venetian Society guests, offering a 12-day Mediterranean experience starting in Fusina (Venice) and ending in Athens (Piraeus).
Led by Silversea President Bert Hernandez, the sailing included stops at eleven ports in Italy, Croatia, and Greece. The itinerary aimed to enhance community ties among members, featuring a mix of curated events, receptions, and exclusive shore excursions, along with personalized amenities exclusive to the Venetian Society. Silversea emphasized the importance of these voyages in celebrating loyalty and shared exploration through travel.
The voyage kicked off in Fusina with a welcoming celebration, featuring live Venetian music and elegantly costumed performers. Guests explored Venice’s iconic sites like St. Mark’s Basilica and the Piazza San Marco before heading to Trieste and Dubrovnik—where they visited the UNESCO-listed Old City and enjoyed local wines in the Konavle Valley.
Continuing along Italy’s Adriatic coast, the ship made a stop in Bari before sailing towards Greece. This segment included renowned spots such as Santorini and Rhodes, along with off-the-beaten-path locations like Monemvasia and Souda Bay. In Rhodes, an Aegean-themed evening allowed guests to indulge in local dishes, music, and traditional performances against a beautiful night backdrop. The experience culminated in Athens, where attendees had the chance to explore its rich museums and archaeological wonders.
Onboard, Silver Spirit provided numerous enrichment activities and exclusive gatherings. Guests enjoyed a champagne teatime hosted by the ship’s butlers and senior officers, along with private receptions and dinners conducted by Silversea’s executive team. Two highlight dinners featured Duval-Leroy’s Heritage Collection, showcasing rare vintages alongside gourmet pairings, underlining Silversea’s commitment to culinary excellence and sensory exploration.
Looking forward, Silversea announced that the next Venetian Society Reunion Voyage will take place aboard Silver Shadow from June 19th to July 1st, 2026. This journey, also spanning 12 days, will visit various Italian, Sicilian, and Maltese destinations, along with the French Riviera, continuing the legacy of exclusive events, gourmet programs, and immersive experiences.
Additionally, Silversea provided a sneak peek of its future vessels, Silver Nova and Silver Ray, which are scheduled for 50 Mediterranean sailings in 2026. Their innovative designs promise enhanced coastal views and greater destination immersion with visits to smaller ports like Saint-Tropez, Portofino, and Rijeka.
