Lindblad Expeditions has announced an extensive expansion of its river cruise offerings for the 2027–2028 season, covering significant waterways in Europe, Egypt, India, and Vietnam, marking the largest river cruise portfolio they have ever introduced.
In Europe, the vessel Transcend Connect will continue to operate its spring and summer routes through the canals of Amsterdam and the picturesque French landscape. Additionally, the new sister ship, Transcend Evolve, is set to join the fleet in 2027. This ship will offer winter sailings for the first time, including special Christmas market voyages, thereby extending the river cruise season.
Lindblad also plans to use charters in India with the Charaidew II on the Brahmaputra River, in Vietnam with The Jahan on the Mekong River, and in Egypt with Oberoi Philae on the Nile.
CEO Natalya Leahy emphasized that the company’s river cruises aim to be “unhurried, intimate and deeply connected to place.” The itineraries will benefit from the presence of seasoned expedition leaders, regional field staff, and naturalists, which aligns with Lindblad’s reputation for in-depth exploration, ensuring that guests have a rich experience.
